About
Hi, Iām Auldyn (pronounced like āAldenā)! Iāve been in UX for almost 15 years, focused on embedding technology into social impact fields. Iāve worked mostly in healthcare tech, but now lead the team for UX and Design at IND, a clinical research company operating the largest and longest study on Parkinsonās Disease.
How I can help
My passion for UX and design stems from a vision to incorporate technology thoughtfully and ethically into social impact fields. Today, I lead the UX and Design team for PPMI, the largest and longest study on Parkinson's Disease. Previously, I was a professor at Carnegie Mellon and worked as a UX Designer in healthcare tech. I also really love cats. I have 5. Please ask me about them. :)

Auldyn has a sharp eye and a knack for teaching! She asked incisive questions that surfaced things I hadnāt thought to consider in my job search and quickly identified concrete ways I could strengthen my design work. Our conversation about visual design was especially valuable. Hearing how she breaks down an aesthetic and translates inspiration into intentional design choices gave me a new framework for approaching my own work. I left with both practical next steps and a sharper way of thinking about visual craft. Moodboards for the win!
