About

I fell into design sideways. Researcher first, retail operations before that, and then my design team left and I was the only one standing. What stuck from all of it is a habit of looking past the screen at the system behind it, because that's usually where the problem started. I also make films. Best part of any conversation is the moment someone stops presenting and starts telling you what's actually going wrong.

How I can help

Twelve years across healthcare, ecommerce, service design for fulfillment systems, and enterprise AI. I've hired, promoted, restructured, and made the calls that didn't work out. Most of what I'm useful for falls into three piles: transitions, like IC to manager or craft to strategy, hard moments, like a reorg or a launch that flopped or being the only designer in the building, and influence, which is really just getting heard by people who outrank you. Happy to go tactical on any of it.
