I started my career in brand and marketing design before finding my way into product design and, eventually, design leadership. Over 15+ years, I’ve learned that careers are rarely linear and that the qualities that make you different are often your greatest strengths. My mentoring style is warm, honest, and practical. I’ll cheer you on, ask questions, and give you the kind of candid feedback I’d want someone to give me.

I help product designers tighten their portfolios, tell clearer case study stories, and show the thinking and impact behind their work. I’ve reviewed 100+ portfolios and hired designers at every level, so I can also share an honest behind-the-scenes perspective on what hiring teams are generally looking for. I’m especially happy to support designers exploring the move from IC to manager, new managers finding their leadership style, or people breaking into product design from marketing, brand, or other creative backgrounds.
