About
I am fascinated to hear about my client’s needs and understanding the “why” behind their requests; in order to create a solution, they are beyond satisfied with. I am a detailed oriented designer who builds and designs to meet my client’s needs. I pay close attention to their existing brand standards as a starting point, to develop content and call to action elements that fits seamlessly into their product, to craft a unique story all their own. I communicate regularly to a wide, diverse audience that ranges from clients, account managers, and product developers. As a mentor, I bring to my partnership an approachable communication style to those I interact and work with. I love cooperative problem solving and not just finding one solution to the problem at hand. I bring with me 12+ years of direct marketing expertise, UX problem solving, and and encouraging mindset to help you meet your goals.
How I can help
I can help mentees connect the dots between who they are, what they value, and how they show up at work. My approach to mentorship is grounded in practical encouragement. I like helping people understand their own value, name what they are learning, and connect their work to a bigger story. Early-career employees are often doing meaningful work before they know how to describe it, so I can help them turn projects, challenges, and everyday responsibilities into clear examples of growth, impact, and transferable skills. I can support mentees with career storytelling, personal brand, self-awareness, communication, marketing and creative workflows, project follow-through, and preparing for performance reviews or future job opportunities. Beyond career skills, I care about the life skills that support sustainable growth: budgeting, self-awareness, setting boundaries, asking better questions, and making decisions that align with both personal values and professional goals. My goal is not to tell mentees exactly what path to take. It is to help them better understand themselves, recognize their options, and leave each conversation with something concrete they can use.

A hard problem I've navigated
I believe at the core of design are a great story and a clear brand. While anyone can design a solution to a problem, it is the impact of the decisions made along the way that has lasting effects on how that solution performs. That is where I enjoy helping mentees. Early in your career, it is easy to describe your work only by the task: “I built a page,” “I helped with a campaign,” or “I pulled a report.” But the real value often lives underneath that. What problem were you trying to solve? Who was the audience? What decision did you influence? What changed because of your work? For example, a designer may not just create a landing page. They may help clarify the message, reduce friction for the user, support accessibility, improve the path to conversion, and create something that better represents the brand. The finished page is the artifact, but the story is the strategy, collaboration, and judgment behind it. I can help mentees learn how to find that story in their own work. I help them slow down, look at the choices they made, understand the value they added, and translate that into language they can use in a performance review, interview, portfolio, resume, or networking conversation. My goal as a mentor is to help people recognize that their work has a story — and then give them the confidence and structure to tell it well.
