“I’m Michael, a self-taught creative who’s passionate about design, art, and working with people. I mainly work in graphic design and creative projects, helping turn ideas into visuals that communicate and connect with people. Started after i finished my secondary school, I got here through my love for creativity and my decision to take that passion seriously. I’ve worked on different personal, freelance, and collaborative projects, which has helped me develop both my creative and problem-solving skills.

I help mentees build a strong foundation in graphic design, including design principles, typography, color theory, layout. And also tools, feedback, portfolio building. Help them with client communication and freelancing basics. The goal is boosting creativity and confidence. And practical skills.

The session will involve reviewing the mentee’s current portfolio, identifying areas for improvement, and discussing how to present their work in a way that communicates their skills, creative thinking, and value. We’ll also look at how to choose and structure projects effectively. By the end of the session, the mentee will have a clearer understanding of what makes a strong portfolio, specific feedback on their work, and actionable steps to improve and present themselves more confidently.
