About

I’m a product designer with 20+ years of experience building digital products across fintech, health tech, and SaaS. I’ve worked as an individual contributor, led design teams, and helped early-stage companies turn rough ideas into real products. I’m naturally curious and pretty down-to-earth. I enjoy talking through messy problems, asking questions, and helping people find a clearer path forward. I don’t believe there’s one “right” way to build a career or design a product—I’m happy to share what I’ve learned, including the things I’ve gotten wrong along the way.

How I can help

I help mentees grow their skills, confidence, and careers in product design. I can also help with product thinking, UX research, visual design, leadership, and working with cross-functional teams. I’m especially interested in helping designers learn how to use AI tools to move faster, explore ideas, and turn concepts into real products.

This 20-minute introductory session is a chance to talk through where you are in your career, where you want to go, and what might help you get there. We’ll keep it conversational and focused. I’ll learn a little about your background, what you’re working toward, and where you feel stuck. From there, we can talk through your options and identify a few practical areas to focus on.

Looking for more clarity around your design career or trying to figure out what your next move should be? This 45-minute session is a focused, one-on-one conversation where we’ll dig into your specific goals, challenges, and opportunities. Whether you're trying to break into product design, move to the next level, find a new role, improve your portfolio, or figure out where to take your career, we'll use the time to get specific and practical. • Specific challenges: Working through a particular career or design problem where you want an experienced outside perspective. • Career direction: Clarifying what role or level you should be targeting and what steps can help you get there. • Portfolio review: Make sure you are presenting yourself the best you can. • Skill development: Identifying the skills that will have the biggest impact on your career and where you should focus your time. We'll spend the time on your specific situation. I'll ask questions, challenge assumptions when useful, share what I've learned from 20+ years in product design, and help you turn a broad goal into concrete next steps.

Let's spend some time working through a problem or interface that you need some extra guidance or feedback on. This will be a no pressure, jump into the problem, and create some quick wins session.
